10-Speed Automatic Transmission
All F-150® engines now deliver their power through an advanced 10-speed automatic transmission. The 10-speed delivers impressive overall performance, with enhanced acceleration at the low and mid ranges of the power band. Features include optimized wide-span gear spacing coupled with drag-reduction actions plus three overdrive gears. With the available 3.5L PowerBoost™ Full Hybrid engine, the transmission is specially modified to include an integrated 33kW electric motor.
Selectable Drive Modes
Selectable Drive Modes have their own avatars and themes that display in your cluster. Each of the available modes creates an instrument panel environment that matches your action. With Selectable Drive Modes: Normal, ECO, Sport, Tow/Haul, Slippery and Trail (4x2 only) and Selectable Drive Modes: Normal, ECO, Sport, Tow/Haul, Deep Snow/Sand and Mud/Ruts. (4x4 only) FX4 equipped trucks, F-150® Tremor® and F-150® Raptor® add unique modes like Rock Crawl and more.

3.5L POWERBOOST™ FULL HYBRID V6 ENGINE
The available 3.5L PowerBoost™ Full Hybrid V6 Engine is breaking ground with the collective might of gas and electric energy. Its impressive power comes through with 430 horsepower, 570 lb.-ft. of torque and a maximum 12,700 lbs. of towing capability. To top it off, the available hybrid engine has a heavy-lifting maximum available payload rating of 2,120 lbs.
3.5L ECOBOOST V6
The available 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 with 10-speed transmission delivers power ratings of 400 horsepower and 500 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine also beats out all competitors with a best-in-class available tow rating of 14,000 lbs. Features include the Ford port-fuel and direct-injection (PFDI) system with two injectors per cylinder — one in the air intake port, another inside the cylinder — to increase performance. Plus twin intercooled turbos for on-demand power with virtually no lag.
2.7L ECOBOOST
How can an engine displacing just 2.7 liters deliver a robust 325 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque? * Engineer it with the Ford port-fuel and direct-injection (PFDI) system with two injectors per cylinder, dual overhead cam design with variable intake/exhaust cam timing, plus twin intercooled turbochargers for on demand power.
5.0L TI-VCT V8
This legendary available Ford V8 delivers all the muscle you need plus a maximum payload rating of 3,310 lbs. Experience robust 400 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. of torque, courtesy of twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT), as well as the Ford port-fuel and direct-injection (PFDI) system with two injectors per cylinder — one in the air intake port, another inside the cylinder — to increase power.
3.3L TI-VCT V6
The 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 delivers responsive performance with 290 horsepower and 265 lb.-ft. of torque. The twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) opens/closes the valves in precise duration to suit operating conditions, so power output is optimized at every point across the performance band. The 3.3L also has the Ford port-fuel and direct-injection (PFDI) system with two injectors per cylinder.
